Cajun Easter Glaze for Ham or Turkey
Very simple ingredients for this spicy glaze:
Get out your stainless mixing bowl and mix it all together until it's blended well.
Use a wide basting brush and brush on your ham or turkey before baking.
Enjoy!
- 1 cup pure cane syrup
- 1 cup Creole mustard
- 1/2 cup fine brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon cracked black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoon ground filé [or sassafras works, I'm told]
